10 Ways to Get & Stay Motivated
My husband and I were forced to move out of our home for several weeks, due to a mold issue in our home. While staying elsewhere, I felt like I really lost my motivation to do anything, I was in such a rut. I would sleep in until 10:30 am, wander around aimlessly, I had no energy, I felt like I was just wasting time. I thought about all the things that would make me feel more motivated to accomplish my goals, so here are 10 tips to regain motivation when you’ve completely lost it.
GET YOUR BLOOD FLOWING
This is totally a catch 22! You need motivation to exercise to get motivation from exercise. My advice, start slow and distract yourself. I started off using the machines at my local gym while listening to my favorite gossip channels on YouTube. If you choose to workout at home, put on a new Netflix show you've been binge watching. Just be careful your form doesn't take the brunt of the distraction. The machines take all the guess work out of working out, so it can be somewhat mindless. It took about two to three weeks to gain energy
